Explore Kielder Water
Diverse Kielder Forest, with its hills, rivers and open areas, is one of the few places in England which is still home to native red squirrels. The forest and the entire area cater for a wide range of outdoor countryside activities, such as walking, fishing, cycling, horse-riding, bird-watching, fell running, even golfing and painting – whatever inspires you.
Local villages (Kielder, Falstone, Greenhaugh) and historic town of Bellingham offer shops and unique historical adventures.
Northumberland
Peaceful, unspoilt Northumberland is a region of spectacular castles and coastline and is ideal for walking.
There are numerous places of interest to visit, such as Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the Scottish Borders, to name a few.
